Statement by a Donor on the 39th Anniversary of EECS
It is an absolute honor to stand here today as we celebrate the 39th anniversary of Endoinyo Erinka Comprehensive School. This moment marks nearly four decades of transforming lives, nurturing young minds, and shaping a brighter future for this community and beyond.
As someone who has had the privilege of contributing to the growth of this incredible institution, I am filled with pride when I look at the remarkable milestones and achievements that EECS has reached over the years.
When this school was founded, it began as a small institution with a dream—to provide quality education to children who otherwise might not have had the opportunity. Today, that dream has blossomed into a beacon of hope, serving hundreds of students annually and producing alumni who have gone on to excel in various fields such as education, business, technology, and public service.
One of the greatest achievements of this school is its commitment to inclusivity. I am especially proud of how EECS has expanded its programs to ensure that every child—regardless of gender, ability, or background—has a seat in the classroom. Initiatives such as the scholarship program for underprivileged students and the establishment of facilities to support learners with special needs are a testament to this school's dedication to equity and empowerment.
Another key milestone is the enhancement of infrastructure. From the construction of new classrooms and laboratories to the provision of modern learning tools such as computers and smart boards, the school has continued to adapt to the evolving demands of education. These improvements would not have been possible without the unwavering support of parents, teachers, and the community at large.
As we celebrate this anniversary, it is important to reflect on what lies ahead. My hope is that Endoinyo Erinka Comprehensive School will continue to strive for excellence, fostering innovation and leadership in every student who passes through its gates.
To the students: You are the heart of this school, and your success stories inspire us to keep giving and supporting. To the teachers and staff: Your tireless efforts, patience, and passion make all the difference. And to the entire community: Your belief in the power of education has kept this vision alive for 39 years.
